Happy Levels is a personal productivity and habit tracking application developed and operated by Nexlab, a technology company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Panama. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in our app, in compliance with Law 81 of March 26, 2019 "On the Protection of Personal Data" of the Republic of Panama.

By using our app, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use our app.

Happy Levels is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. All your level data (titles, emojis, schedules) stays on your device, under your control.

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app experience. This analytics data contains no personal information and can be disabled at any time in Preferences.

Nexlab: Nexlab, a Panamanian company responsible for the development and operation of Happy Levels.

Happy Levels: A personal productivity and habit tracking application available on iOS and Android platforms.

User or Data Subject: Natural person who uses Happy Levels.

Personal Data: Any information concerning identified or identifiable natural persons.

Local Storage: Data stored exclusively on your device, not transmitted to any servers.

3. Anonymous Usage Analytics

3.1 What We Collect

To improve Happy Levels and understand how users interact with the app, we collect anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics. This data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you as an individual.

Analytics data includes:

• Anonymous usage events (e.g., level created, level refilled, theme changed)

• App feature interactions (e.g., menu opened, notifications configured)

• Device type and operating system version

• App version and performance metrics

3.2 What We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect any personal or identifiable information:

• Your name, email address, or contact information

• Your level titles, emojis, or content

• Your exact schedules or refill times

• Your device identifiers for cross-app tracking

• Your location data

• Your IP address

• Any personally identifiable information

3.3 Opting Out

You can disable analytics collection at any time:

• Open the menu (☰ icon)

• Go to Preferences

• Toggle off Anonymous Usage Analytics

When disabled, no analytics data will be collected or transmitted.

3A. ANONYMOUS CRASH REPORTING

3A.1 What We Collect

To improve Happy Levels stability and fix bugs, we collect anonymous crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics. This data helps us identify and fix issues that cause the app to crash or malfunction.

Crash data includes:

• Stack traces and error logs

• Device type and operating system version

• App version

• Technical state at time of crash (e.g., "notification scheduling failed")

• Non-identifying custom keys (e.g., "is_pro_user: true", "icloud_sync: enabled")

3A.2 What We Do NOT Collect in Crash Reports

We do NOT collect any personal or content data in crash reports:

• Your level titles, emojis, or content

• Your schedules or refill times

• Your name or contact information

• Device identifiers for cross-app tracking

• Any personally identifiable information

You can disable crash reporting at any time:

• Go to Preferences

• Toggle off Anonymous Crash Reports

When disabled, no crash data will be collected or transmitted.

4. Information Stored Locally On Your Device

All data in Happy Levels is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework (iOS) or equivalent local storage (Android). This includes:

• Titles and emojis you assign to your levels

• Depletion duration settings

• Last refill dates and history

• Current level percentages

• Creation dates

4.2 App Preferences

• Theme selections

• Notification preferences

• Analytics opt-out preference

• Display settings

• Widget configurations

4.3 Important Notes About Local Storage

• This data never leaves your device

• We cannot access, view, or retrieve this data

• If you delete the app, all this data is permanently deleted

• Data is not automatically backed up to our servers

• You are responsible for backing up your data (via iCloud or device backup)

5. In-App Purchases

Happy Levels offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and lifetime purchase). These transactions are processed entirely by:

• Apple App Store(for iOS users)

• Google Play Store(for Android users)

5.1 What We Receive

We receive anonymous purchase validation from Apple/Google to verify your subscription status. This includes:

• A transaction identifier (not linked to your identity)

• Product ID (which subscription you purchased)

• Purchase and expiration dates

5.2 What We Do NOT Receive

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your payment information

• Your Apple ID or Google account

6. Notifications

Happy Levels can send you local notifications to remind you to check your levels. These notifications:

• Are generated locally on your device

• Do not involve any server communication

• Can be enabled or disabled in your device settings

• Require your explicit permission to be enabled

We do not send push notifications from our servers.

7. Widgets

Happy Levels offers home screen widgets that display your levels. Widget data:

• Is stored and rendered locally on your device

• Uses the same local data as the main app

• Does not communicate with any servers

• Is shared between the app and widget using Apple's App Groups feature (iOS only)

8. Data Sharing And Third Parties

8.1 We Do Not Share Your Personal Data

We do not collect your personal data (level titles, content, schedules), so we have nothing to share. Your level data stays on your device.

8.2 Third-Party Services

Happy Levels integrates with the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics (Google)

• Purpose: Anonymous usage analytics

• Data collected: Non-identifiable app usage events (see Section 3.1)

• Control: Can be disabled in Preferences

Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

• Purpose: Anonymous crash reporting and stability monitoring

8.3 Legal Obligations

Since we do not possess your personal data or level content, we cannot provide it to authorities even if legally requested. Your content data exists only on your device. Anonymous analytics data is aggregated and cannot be attributed to specific individuals.

9. YOUR RIGHTS (ARCOP RIGHTS)

Under Panama's Law 81 of 2019, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

9.1 Right of Access (A)

You have full access to all your data through the app interface. We cannot provide you with data we don't possess.

9.2 Right of Rectification (R)

You can edit, modify, or correct all your level data directly in the app at any time.

9.3 Right of Deletion (C)

You can delete individual levels or all your data by:

• Deleting individual levels in the app

• Deleting the entire app from your device (this removes all local data)

9.4 Right of Opposition (O)

You can oppose anonymous analytics collection by:

• Opening Preferences from the menu

• Toggling off "Anonymous Usage Analytics"

For your level data, since it's stored only on your device, there is no server-side data processing to oppose.

9.5 Right of Portability (P)

Currently, your data can be backed up through:

• iOS: iCloud backup or iTunes backup

• Android: Device backup or Google backup

We may add export features in future updates.

10. Data Security

10.1 Local Security

Your data security depends on your device security:

• Use device passcode/biometric authentication

• Keep your device operating system updated

• Use device encryption (enabled by default on iOS and modern Android)

10.2 Our Security Measures

Since we don't store data on servers, there are no server security risks such as:

• Data breaches

• Unauthorized server access

• Hacking attempts on databases

10.3 Data Loss

We are not responsible for data loss resulting from:

• Device loss, theft, or damage

• Factory resets without backups

• Operating system issues

• Uninstalling the app without backing up data

Important: We strongly recommend using your device's backup features (iCloud, iTunes, Google backup) to prevent data loss.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Happy Levels is suitable for all ages. Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no risk to children's privacy. Parents and guardians can be assured that:

• No accounts or registrations are required

• No personal information is requested

• The app operates entirely offline (except for purchase validation)

15. Data Controller

Nexlab acts as the data controller for Happy Levels. However, since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, our role as controller is limited to:

• Determining the purpose of local storage features

• Ensuring the app functions correctly

• Providing this Privacy Policy

You are the effective controller of your own data stored on your device.

16. Cookies And Tracking Technologies

16.1 No Cookies

Happy Levels does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

16.2 Anonymous Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. This analytics:
